"We enjoyed a week at Lantern Cross, there were 8 of us in the party and the cottage was plenty big enough for us all. We loved the 2 staircases and the connecting corridor upstairs, its perfect for 2 families holidaying together, we still had our own private space and family bathroom. The cottage was so well equipped with all the cooking utensils and pans you would need to cook a family meal for 8 people. The garden was gorgeous and is perfect for keeping children of any age entertained."...August 2020

"We have all had a fantastic week, despite the fickle British weather which is at its nicest as we prepare to leave! Lantern Cross is a lovely house, with a fantastic garden. We have all enjoyed watching the birds from the kitchen window, especially the woodpecker. The 1000 piece jigsaws have provided some entertainment to keep the grey matter active! We had a lovely day at RHS Rosemoor and went to Tapeley, where we particularly enjoyed the lake."...May/June 2019

"Lovely property and grounds, friendly and helpful owner/caretaker. Country lane driving needed but loved being in the countryside away from everything. Peaceful and kids could play as loud as they wanted. Ample room in house, clean and tidy, home from home. Would recommend and the garden was fab - even my spaniel had enough room to run and sniff out birds.
Improvements
Property was great though not full Sky package so no kids tv no pause or record features available- which would have been handy ( but didn't spoil the holiday). Garden was lush the greyhound and springer spaniel loved it out there. A bench at the bottom would have been nice but only so we could sit and watch."...October 2018. Owner comment: although we do not have Sky, we do have two Smart TVs with a range of catch-up options via our Super Fast broadband. There is in fact a stone bench and table half way down the garden.
